Sanmina Corporation is seeking a VP Operations to lead manufacturing leadership, drive process optimization, and manage budgets across the plant. The role requires extensive experience in EMS environments, NPI programs, and strong stakeholder management to align asset performance with growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration with a heavy technical focus.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive managerial experience in manufacturing.
• EMS industry experience preferred, with exposure to advanced electronic, optical, and telecommunications product manufacturing.
• Hands-on manager with solid experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, NPI protocols, and capacity planning.
• Data-driven analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Factory Oversight: Lead plant operations and manage performance targets.
• Budgetary & Capital: Oversee budgeting, tooling, labor, and capital expenditures.
• Policy & Growth: Contribute to policies and long-range strategic goals.
• Engineering Oversight: Provide leadership for manufacturing, process, automation and quality.
• Process optimization: Direct optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standards & Approvals: Approve engineering standards and procedures.
• NPI & Business Development: Lead NPI programs; coordinate bids and contracts.
• Customer & Supplier: Manage relationships to secure profitable recurring business.
