Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize production and operations from planning through shipment, including materials, inventory, and warehouse duties. The role demands cross-functional leadership across planning, purchasing, stockroom, and finance to achieve on-time delivery and cost control.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage multi-shift teams, ensure quality compliance (ISO9001/AS9100/ITAR where applicable), and maintain inventory levels

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of direct, hands-on manufacturing, production supervision, process engineering, or materials management experience.
• Strong background in SMT processes (reflow, wave soldering), through-hole and press-fit technology.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Leadership experience with staffing, coaching, performance management, and workforce development.
• Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100/ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations across assigned areas, ensuring production, quality, safety, schedule adherence, and cost objectives.
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production build plans based on material availability and customer commitments.
• Own material flow and inventory management; coordinate with purchasing/stockroom to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Stockroom, Test, Maintenance, Program Management, and Finance to resolve constraints.
• Lead manpower planning and staffing decisions; supervise training and development.
• Implement Lean/Six Sigma improvements to improve yields and reduce cycle time.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and ITAR where applicable.
• Monitor and report KPIs and participate in budget planning.
