Job summary

B2U Storage Solutions seeks a COO/Senior Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations of its BESS projects from the Lancaster, CA hub. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on operational execution, quality, safety, vendor performance, and project readiness.

The ideal candidate will build processes and structure while working in the field, collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, and executive leadership to drive projects forward.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with ability to build processes and work in the field.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Project Development, Procurement, and vendors.
• Knowledge of QA/QC concepts and documentation control.
• Strong project management, scheduling, and cost-control capabilities.
• Demonstrated data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations from Lancaster, CA hub.
• Provide hands-on leadership to operations, field, assembly, and construction teams.
• Set priorities, workflows, and accountability across the operation.
• Troubleshoot field issues and keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate deployments, installations, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
• Ensure projects meet engineering requirements and quality standards.
• Develop operational schedules, resource plans, and milestones.
• Oversee QA/QC across operations and vendor relationships.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure safety compliance.
