Job summary

Shoals-Technologies-Group is seeking a Director of Operations for the BESS product line to drive end-to-end operations across manufacturing, assembly, test, and field service. You will partner with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Sales to scale volume, improve quality, and meet delivery commitments.

You will build and lead a high-performing team, implement scalable processes, and advance lean initiatives while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership, with ≥5 years in director-level role.
• Direct experience in BESS, energy storage, or related electrical/renewable manufacturing.
• Experience scaling manufacturing ops, building teams, and delivering improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead BESS operations across manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, and field service.
• Develop scalable processes, quality systems, and workflows for growth.
• Align production capacity with demand forecasts and delivery commitments.
• Coach and develop a high-performing operations team; establish accountability.
• Drive lean improvements and KPI dashboards for data-driven decisions.
