Job summary

Keller Executive Search is seeking an accomplished operational leader for a nationwide solar and storage client. You will lead warehousing, freight, inventory, and fulfillment across a national 3PL network, set KPIs, and build an operating rhythm with dashboards and reviews.

You will redesign teams, scale an early growth stage business, and link commercial activity to capacity while partnering with the CEO and Board.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations, supply chain, or general management, including at least 8 years in a senior executive role.
• Hands-on experience building operating systems (KPIs, cadence, planning, process).
• Experience with heavy industrial or renewable energy logistics (transforms, batteries, trackers, modules).
• Experience leading WMS, TMS, ERP, and CRM projects from decision to go-live.
• Experience managing multi-site or contracted 3PL networks at scale.
• Ability to partner with CEO/Board and build tools and systems users want, not own a P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full operations function across warehousing, freight, inventory, and fulfillment, including managing a national 3PL and warehouse network, carrier selection, and specialized freight.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, operating rhythm, and cadence with dashboards and reviews.
• Assess the current team, redesign the structure, and place the right people in the right roles.
• Build sales and business-development infrastructure linking commercial activity to capacity without taking over customer relationships.
• Define and implement core operational technology stack (WMS, TMS, CRM, ERP) and reporting tools.
• Create a compliance and commercial legal function covering hazmat permitting and contract review.
• Coach experienced operations leaders, manage offshore partners, and advise CEO/Board.
• Own day‑to‑day operations and build scalable systems.
