Job summary

BridgePoint Associates, LLC. in Northern Virginia seeks a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to lead global mission delivery, oversee 260 locations, and manage a 450+ staff team within a $75M budget. The role is hybrid and reports to the CEO.

You will drive operational excellence, implement data-driven strategies, and partner with the leadership team to expand programs and impact across the organization. International travel will be required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience, including 7+ years in executive management
• Experience overseeing large, globally dispersed teams
• Proven budget management experience with multi-million budgets

• Ability to travel internationally and domestically
• Nonprofit experience is a plus

Salary Range: $315,000 to $350,000 per year + bonus potential based on organization and individual performance

Terrific Chief Operating Officer ("COO") position with a highly regarded nonprofit in Virginia.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for global mission delivery across 260 locations. The COO will empower a diverse team of 450+ staff and oversee a $75M operating budget. This role will have responsibility for continuous improvement, innovation, and impact of the organization's programs and services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead global delivery and field operations for the organization's programs and services across 260 locations
• Develop and implement strategies that focus on mission delivery, operational excellence, and impact
• Empower teams globally, overseeing a team of 450+
• Utilize data, KPI's, and measurable insights to inform strategy and program effectiveness
• Assess organizational effectiveness and ensure resources are aligned with areas of most need
• Guide the creation of new programs and services
• Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team on organizational strategic plans

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years of executive management experience
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Experience overseeing large and globally dispersed teams
• Demonstrated track record managing similarly sized budgets
• Strong data-driven approach to strategy and decision-making
• Understanding of and experience with military culture, organizations, and related dynamics
• Nonprofit experience is a plus
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically
