Job summary

BridgePoint Associates, LLC. seeks a Chief Operating Officer for a highly regarded nonprofit in Northern Virginia.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will lead global mission delivery across 260 locations, empower a 450+ staff team, and oversee a $75M operating budget. This role drives continuous improvement, innovation and impact by using data and KPIs to shape strategy, develop programs, and align resources with priority needs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years in executive management.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience overseeing large and globally dispersed teams.
• Track record managing budgets of similar size to $75M.
• Data-driven approach to strategy and decision-making.
• Understanding of and experience with military culture and dynamics.
• Nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead global delivery and field operations for programs across 260 locations.
• Develop and implement strategies focusing on mission delivery, operational excellence, and impact.
• Empower teams globally, overseeing a 450+ staff.
• Utilize data, KPIs, and insights to inform strategy and program effectiveness.
• Assess organizational effectiveness and align resources with areas of most need.
• Guide the creation of new programs and services.
• Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team on strategic plans.
