The Opportunity :
Orlando Health announces an exceptional opportunity for an exemplary leader to serve as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Assistant Vice President, Orlando Health. The COO direct and oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of OHAPH working collaboratively to establish a pediatric health care environment that promotes excellence, efficiency and safety while maintaining a focus on the patients and their families.
Reporting to Justin Williams, President OHAPH, the next Chief Operating Officer will have direct oversight of the hospital’s allied health services, support services and perioperative services. The COO will ensure areas of responsibility meet quality, strategic, customer service, budget, financial and business development goals. In addition, the COO will assist in developing new business strategies to enhance market share, add new service lines and improve overall performance and will identify opportunities and communicate them to the hospital leadership team. In partnership with executive team, the incoming COO will have the professional stature and institutional resources to continue to attract exceptional clinicians, team members and leaders from diverse backgrounds. Direct reports will include Associate COO, Director of Surgery, Director of Nursing Operations, Manager of Sterile Processing, Manager of Cardiovascular for Cath and Surgery and a Chief Clinical Perfusionist.
