For our client, we are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $300,000 – $330,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic decisions and embed operational rigor across all functions
• Establish enterprise metrics and dashboards for executive decision-making
• Design and maintain dashboards for real-time organizational health insights
• Optimize internal infrastructure for sustainable growth
• Create performance management systems that empower teams to excel
• Architect organizational structure aligned with forward-looking strategy
• Oversee business operations, integrating finance, HR, and core workflows

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in business operations or leadership roles, ideally in both strategy and hands-on environments
• Consultative experience in management consulting or similar advisory roles, with real operational leadership
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, particularly in finance functions
• Proven track record in cultivating high-performance teams during rapid scaling
• Experience in architecting operational systems that drive enterprise-wide execution
• Expertise in designing executive-level KPI frameworks and strategic reporting systems
• Deep knowledge of organizational design and team topology scaling
