Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for its Executive Wealth Group, a high‑growth private wealth practice. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in professional services or financial industries.
  • Experience scaling a business from hundreds of millions to multi‑billion assets.
  • Experience with wealth management, RIAs, or financial services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and translate vision into initiatives.
  • Design scalable operational processes and SOPs across departments.
  • Lead recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Drive acquisitions through due diligence and operational integration.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
  • Enhance client experience with scalable service models and tech enablement.
