Job summary

Ameriprise Financial seeks a Registered Client Service Associate to support high-producing advisors. You will prepare financial plans, conduct investment research, and manage client interactions to deepen relationships.

You will also handle meeting prep, new business paperwork, and marketing event coordination while maintaining strong administrative support and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years relevant experience required.
  • Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • Life, Accident, and Health licenses & Variable Contracts or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • Experience in a client service environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong math and analytical skills.
  • Good organization and time management.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to communicate with all levels and be process oriented.
  • Strong computer and software skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist advisor in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions.
  • Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling meetings, entering data and providing meeting agendas.
  • Prepare and ensure new business paperwork is submitted, obtain signatures, and coordinate rollovers.
  • Coordinate marketing events with compliant documentation and reimbursements.
  • Provide general administrative duties and client file setup and routine correspondence.

We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
