Job summary

Aegis AI seeks a Vice President of Operations to architect the company’s internal engine and scale its AI security platform. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to translate strategy into rigorous operating models, processes, and cadence that enable rapid growth without derailing execution.

You will design cross-functional workflows between Product, Engineering, and GTM, govern resource allocation, and lead strategic programs from incubation to maturity, ensuring scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of operational leadership experience, with a track record as VP of Operations, COO, GM, or senior management consulting in tech.
• Experience scaling a high-growth company from 50 to 1,000+ employees and building scalable operational frameworks.
• Fluency in AI concepts and ability to discuss model precision, human-in-the-loop systems, and AI infrastructure's impact on unit economics.
• Systems thinking with a strong focus on efficiency, automation, and scalable process design.
• High agency and ownership mindset, willing to work at pace and own ambiguous, high-stakes challenges.

Responsibilities

• Scale the company’s core operating rhythms (OKRs, QBRs, leadership meetings, all-hands) and build infrastructure, processes, and KPIs to support hyper-growth.
• Translate long-term corporate strategy into actionable, cross-functional operating plans and ensure executive accountability for milestones.
• Serve as the central hub between Product, Engineering, and GTM to resolve silos and build scalable 'agentic' development frameworks.
• Lead incubation and special projects, including standing up new functions, international expansion, or GTM partnerships until mature.
• Partner with the CEO on financial planning, budgets, and fundraising readiness; manage data room and investor-ready metrics.
