Job summary
Pfizer seeks a Senior Director to shape the long-range Oncology portfolio strategy and investment agenda. You will lead commercial portfolio strategies across tumor types, modalities, and platforms, influencing enterprise-level decisions with scientific, clinical, and market insights.
Working across R&D, Medical, Commercial, and Finance, you will advance governance, portfolio management frameworks, and AI-enabled decision-support, delivering patient impact and enterprise value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or related fields with oncology experience.
- Proven ability to synthesize scientific, clinical, commercial, competitive, and financial information for portfolio decisions.
- Experience leading enterprise-level strategic initiatives and influencing senior leadership.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and executive storytelling skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of long-range oncology portfolio strategy and investment agenda.
- Drive portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and lifecycle optimization.
- Develop governance frameworks and decision-support capabilities for enterprise reviews.
- Collaborate across R&D, Medical, Commercial, Access, Finance, and Business Development.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
