NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) seeks an Associate Urban Designer to advance urban design development within the Office of Development and the BLDS division. You will contribute to architectural and planning projects, review proposals, and collaborate with cross‑agency partners to support affordable housing initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold an architecture degree and have experience in urban design programs.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of full-time experience in planning, design, research, investigations and/or studies related to urban design development programs.
• Graduate work substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
