LaunchDarkly is seeking a seasoned Chief of Staff, reporting to the CEO, to partner with the Executive Leadership Team and scale strategic initiatives. This senior individual contributor role focuses on translating strategy into action, shaping planning, and delivering high-quality, insight-driven leadership materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of related experience, often in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, product operations, or executive advisory work.
• Proven track record partnering with executive leaders and influencing at the highest levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complexity into clear narratives.
• Strong analytical capability with SaaS metrics and executive-level data.
• Ability to manage multiple high-impact workstreams with sound judgment and prioritization.
• High discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to drive company-wide strategic initiatives from conception through execution.
• Shape operating cadence, owning OKRs and leadership planning processes.
• Design planning frameworks for effective executive decision-making.
• Support annual and long-range planning cycles with synthesized inputs and implications.
• Lead preparation of executive materials, including Board and ELT presentations.
• Ensure content is clear, decision-oriented, and aligned with strategy.
• Partner on executive dashboards and reporting; ensure metrics are accurate and actionable.
• Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and evaluate initiatives.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Design agendas for executive meetings and off-sites; capture decisions and follow-through.
