Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Chief Procurement Officer to drive procurement strategy, governance, and capability development. The role partners with senior leaders to translate priorities into actionable roadmaps and to enable disciplined execution across the function.

The Director will lead strategic initiatives, governance processes, and talent development while maintaining an external lens on market trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of procurement, strategic planning, chief of staff, transformation, finance, or related leadership experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes, contract negotiations, supplier management, cost optimization, and value creation.
• Demonstrated success developing multi‑year strategies and leading complex initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to the NUSA CPO and provide strategic advisory support.
• Translate complex needs into clear recommendations, decisions, and leadership routines.
• Prepare senior‑level presentations and strategic updates linking priorities to performance and risks.
• Lead external scanning of market trends and future capability requirements.
• Govern and develop procurement talent and drive governance across the function.
