Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a procurement project manager to drive assigned projects with an emphasis on innovation and technical complexity. You will define requirements, manage end-to-end timelines, and coordinate across stakeholders to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing or material management, strong MS Office skills, and experience with global procurement processes. A bachelor’s degree is required and Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applicable field required.
• 2+ years purchasing and/or material management experience preferred.
• Experience with project management and stage-gate methodologies.
• Knowledge of global procurement and sourcing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Interpersonal networking to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage change and prioritize workloads.
• Excellent communication across boundaries and borders.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, priorities, and key value-drivers for each project.
• Transmit understanding to cross-functional teams to define priorities.
• Own and measure projects toward KPIs and deadlines.
• Report progress and elevate risks to Procurement leadership and stakeholders.
• Represent Procurement in cross-functional meetings for assigned projects.
• Seek proactive feedback to focus on high-value procurement initiatives.
• Coordinate information flow between business partners and category teams.
• Track activities and hold owners accountable for on-time completion.
• Ensure early Procurement involvement in Innovate to Launch projects.
• Lead I2L projects and share requirements with relevant teams.
• Develop understanding of business challenges and industry trends.
• Build relationships across the business to support project objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
