Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.**Job Summary & Responsibilities**This Chief of Staff (CoS) is a critical strategic professional focused on supporting key initiatives for the Office of the COO. CoS drives a tempo of disciplined and predictable execution and establishes operational priorities on behalf of the COO. Onto’s CoS is the behind-the-scenes leader guiding our operations organization’s daily rhythm. This position will give high performing, high potential professionals an opportunity to accelerate their business and leadership capabilities across multiple domains.**Responsibilities:*** Work closely with the COO across the organization to drive a cadence of consistent organizational execution. They will help establish organizational priorities, identify operational indicators, and implement controls.* Lead strategic projects with operational/business/technical program management, including cross-functional initiatives.* Will have the core responsibility of making the COO’s time, information, and decision processes more effective.
