Job summary

Onto Innovation Inc. is seeking a Principal HR Business Partner for our Milpitas, CA office. You will partner with leaders and drive culture, organizational development, and HR programs across Europe while aligning with the US HQ.

This role emphasizes talent acquisition, employee relations, mobility, and policy execution within a technical client environment. The position calls for English fluency, plus German or French skills preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted partner to leaders; assist management with culture, process, and organizational development
• Consult with employees and managers on employee relations issues to resolve root causes
• Lead European benefits and payroll entry administration
• Lead talent and recruitment agenda in Europe
• Execute HR programs in partnership with the HRBP team and centers of excellence, incl. succession planning
• Update and apply HR policies and company guidelines to the local office
• Drive adoption of processes and policies across the organization
• Drive data-driven improvements with the client group to foster a continuous improvement culture
