Job summary

VaxCare Corp. in Orlando, FL is seeking a strategic Head of Payments to lead end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management, payer contract operations, and contract-to-cash integration.

This hybrid, full-time role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and drives performance across billing, claims, denials, and collections. The successful candidate will scale the RCM function for a high-volume, low-dollar claim model, build operational rigor, and partner with Product and Technology to optimize payment

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in Revenue Cycle Management, payer operations, or related healthcare roles.
• Experience leading large, scalable RCM organizations.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare claims lifecycle including eligibility, billing, submission, adjudication, payment posting, denials, collections.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management and optimize cash yield, predictability, and efficiency.
• Lead Payer Contract Operations and translate contracts into workflows, systems, and processes.
• Oversee Contract-to-Cash performance from contract to final payment with cross-functional alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and analytics to reduce denials and leakage.
• Lead and develop senior leaders across RCM and payer-facing teams.
