Job summary

VaxCare Corp. is seeking an experienced Head of National Payer Network & Value-Based Care Strategy. This remote, executive-level role leads enterprise payer contracting, value-based programs, and market expansion to broaden patient access and improve reimbursement efficiency.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build strategic partnerships with national payers, develop innovative reimbursement models, and guide cross-functional teams to scale VaxCare's nationwide care delivery platform.

Qualifications

• Seasoned payer contracting and value-based care executive with enterprise experience.
• Established national and regional payer relationships across Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, PBMs, and regional plans.
• Experience with risk-bearing entities is a plus.
• Located ideally on the East Coast with willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and development of 500–600 payer contracts across payer types.
• Own enterprise-wide payer contracting strategy and lead national and regional negotiations.
• Design and execute the national value-based care strategy and develop risk-sharing programs.
• Build executive-level payer partnerships and strategic joint plans with key accounts.
• Lead Network Strategy and Market Expansion, including state entry and IPA engagement.
• Define enterprise payer KPIs and develop reimbursement analytics with Finance.
• Improve reimbursement performance and establish payer performance scorecards.
