Job summary

The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, part of the Veterans Health Administration, seeks a Physician to serve as Chief of Radiology. The role includes leadership, clinical excellence, and educational duties with day tour hours and negotiable specifics.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Board certification and eligibility per VHA requirements.
• Experience in leadership and teaching in a hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Radiology Services across the facility and clinics.
• Establish imaging protocols and quality controls.
• Ensure safety and proper use of contrast and radiation dose management.
• Provide consultative support to referring providers and participate in clinical governance.
