Job summary

New Bedford Research & Robotics is seeking a Director of Operations to scale our nonprofit innovation campus. You will lead operations, administration, and facilities across four buildings, align programs, and build an organization capable of growth while staying mission-driven.

This onsite, full-time role reports to the Founder/CEO, manages HR, vendor relations, IT, and campus services, and ensures a safe, inclusive environment for interns, staff, and partners as we expand our headquarters.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years running operations in a complex environment.
• Experience leading nonprofit organizations and campus programs.
• Strong vendor, facilities, and HR process management.
• Excellent written and oral communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating calendar, workflows, and accountability systems.
• Oversee operations, administration, facilities, IT, HR, and vendor relations.
• Support program leaders and interns to ensure a safe, inclusive campus.
• Collaborate with CEO on growth strategy and capital improvements.
