Job description

New Bedford Research & Robotics is hiring our first Director of Operations prior to expansion into 18,000 additional square feet of entrepreneurship and technology prototyping space on Purchase Street, complimenting existing office space and double height conditioned and gantry lined industrial buildings, totaling 33,000 square feet. The Director of Operations role is a significant step in scaling our existing programmatic ecosystem and delivery of our non profit mission: access to frontier technologies for entrepreneurial and social impact, through education and skill creation, economic empowerment, and corporate engagement. Growing that much means we need someone to hold it together: our teams, our programs, our membership, our spaces - as we serve across marine tech, marine robotics, advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and regional impact initiatives. Salary is $85,000 to $110,000 - onsite in New Bedford.
