Job summary

NYU Langone Health, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, seeks an experienced anesthesiologist to lead Obstetric Anesthesiology at Woodhull Medical Center in the labor and delivery suite. The role requires board certification in Anesthesiology and fellowship in obstetric anesthesia with strong leadership skills.

The position offers a base salary of $520,000 with total compensation ranging from $520,000 to $550,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for CME, retirement

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO, board-certified in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship-trained in obstetric anesthesiology or equivalent.
• Experience with integrative midwifery model of care.
• Demonstrated leadership, administration and program development skills.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Commitment to lean management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site, full-time obstetric anesthesiology consultant in the labor and delivery suite.
• Assist obstetric colleagues in patient care management.
• Administer pain relief for labor and cesarean deliveries.
• Manage emergencies and ensure high-quality patient safety.
