Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment.
• BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Experience as Director of Nursing in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Lead staffing planning to match census and acuity with budget and recruitment/retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies; partner with CEO on clinical direction.
• Manage quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives; drive action plans from outcomes.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and other departments to coordinate care and transition planning.
• Promote staff development through orientation, ongoing education, and performance evaluations.
