Job summary
Coral Shores Behavioral Health seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead the nursing division within Universal Health Services' network. The role focuses on building a patient-centric nursing strategy, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective care, and aligning with mission and regulatory standards.
You will join the Senior Leadership Team and guide 5 strategic areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance.
Qualifications
- Current Florida nursing license or permit.
- BSN from a CCNE-accredited program; MSN preferred.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
- Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices; strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Build the initial nursing department and establish structure.
- Coordinate a patient-centric nursing strategy aligned with mission and values.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Participate in hospital strategic planning and achieve institutional goals.
- Lead with autonomy and leverage corporate support for field operations.
