Job summary

Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing across the hospital as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. You will partner with the CEO and senior leaders to drive patient care excellence and a strong nursing culture.

You will mentor nursing leaders, shape staffing, ensure regulatory readiness, and guide quality and patient safety initiatives while advancing behavioral healthcare across the organization.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience in behavioral health settings.
• Licensed RN (OH or reciprocity).
• Six years RN experience required.
• Nursing leadership in a freestanding psychiatric hospital preferred.
• Two years behavioral health inpatient RN experience required.
• Three years progressive nursing management or administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services strategically across the hospital.
• Create culture of clinical excellence and accountability.
• Develop mentoring for nursing leaders.
• Drive patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.
• Optimize staffing models and workforce planning.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support organizational growth and strategic planning.
• Advance patient-centered behavioral healthcare.
