The Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Chief Nurse for the Sterile Processing Service. This leadership role directs SPS operations, policy development, and staff competency across the service.

You will oversee reprocessing, equipment, and quality management, coordinating training and adherence to SOPs while liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. A strong focus on patient safety and team development is essential.

Qualifikationen

• RN licensure in any US state or territory is required.
• Experience leading sterile processing or related health-system services preferred.
• Knowledge of SOPs, quality management, and reprocessing standards.

• Lead SPS operations and quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee reprocessing, storage, and equipment maintenance.
• Develop and enforce SPS SOPs and competency assessments.
• Provide staff education and supervise 25+ technicians.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and committees.
• Represent SPS in internal and external communications.
