Job summary

Appalachian Electric Cooperative (AEC) seeks a Vice President of Member Services in New Market, TN to lead member-facing programs, services, communications, and community engagement.

You will report to the General Manager, guide multiple departments, shape member experiences, and drive strategic initiatives in a cooperative that values service excellence, accountability, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 7+ years of leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience.
• Preferred: experience in electric utilities or member services.
• Strong strategic thinking and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for member-facing departments.
• Develop goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Lead communications, marketing, and community engagement.
• Oversee TVA programs, energy services, and partnerships.
