Jones Networking is recruiting for a Chief Marketing Officer to join a Global Payments Company. The ideal candidate will be a SaaS experienced global marketing leader. This company offers an excellent company culture, amazing benefits, and the role is 100% remote (must live in CT or ET time zones).
Chief Marketing Officer (SaaS Experience) Responsibilities:
- Review the Company’s current marketing strategies and make recommendations for continuous improvement with the capability to execute those plans to an exceptional level.
- Build channel marketing strategies and plans that increase demand through our channel partners empowering these partners to be highly successful in generating revenue from the Company’s services.
- Work collaboratively with the product organization to align market and product strategy with marketing strategy ensuring we clearly position and differentiate capabilities.
- Build highly effective demand generation and content strategies, and operationalize these to raise awareness, develop engagement, support the brand and create market demand and opportunities, particularly with enterprise opportunities.
- Direct and drive digital marketing strategy and execution from social presence through to website, supporting brand and demand generation activities.
- Own the Company’s brand and to continually evolve this to be synonymous with what we do and what we are looking to achieve in the long term.
- Continually analyze both our market and competitive landscape across all target regions to develop growth strategies for the business globally.
- Understand the business and technical needs of our target markets and ensure continued alignment of our product, pricing, proposition, and messaging.
- Support digital marketing activity through strategic events including the Company’s virtual and physical events, partner events, industry events and tradeshows, and internal customer events.
- Be an active and involved member of the SLT able to wear a “company hat” to collaborate with other people and departments across the organization.
- Lead product marketing initiatives to define go-to-market strategies, develop compelling positioning and messaging, and drive adoption and retention across the customer lifecycle.
- Be an active member of the management team running the Company’s customer advocacy program that enables us to leverage our customers to endorse our brand, capabilities and services, and to assess future relationship, commercial, and product opportunities.
- Devise and execute an existing customer communication program that will drive customer loyalty whilst creating increased opportunities to drive cross sell and upsell opportunities across all regions.
- Leverage marketing technology (including AI) to ensure that we measure everything and streamline the flow of leads across the business.
- Leverage marketing tech to measure ROI on marketing activity and to make informed decisions on marketing investment.
- Review and improve the existing marketing data analytics available to the business, working closely across departments to pinpoint the return on investment generated from marketing spend.
- Lead, manage and develop our in-house marketing team, maximizing their skills and capabilities to deliver effective marketing.
- Work with and maximize third party agency support to ensure our marketing is progressive and focused on performance.
Chief Marketing Officer (SaaS Experience) Requirements:
- Experienced marketing leader with experience in B2B SaaS companies.
- Strong experience of channel sales operations and the importance of marketing to and through channel partners.
- Have global experience and be able to develop marketing strategy across all theatres and have a clear understanding of the nuances across regions.
- Experience of telecommunications, contact center, payments, or cybersecurity markets would be an advantage.
- Have a flair for digital and performance marketing, be focused on results and driving demand
growth (pipeline and revenue outcomes).
- Be analytical and data driven, with experience of leveraging marketing technology to measure
every aspect of performance and continually drive greater ROI.
- Be creative and progressive in your thinking, finding new and ingenious ways to build brand, proposition awareness and drive engagement. You should express a keen understanding of the emerging AI technologies available to marketing leaders.
- Be a leader of people and have a track record of building and growing a high-performance team.
- Have a proven track record of collaboration with peers group managers and C-suite leaders
- Bring strong emotional intelligence, enabling you to collaborate effectively across all levels and functions of the organization, especially with members of the leadership team.
