Since 2001, By Landmark has been a family-owned and operated hospitality group founded by the Cretella family, known for creating bold, immersive experiences across a dynamic portfolio of 24 exceptional venues across the NYC Tri-State area, that includes, boutique hotels, award winning restaurants, Wedding & event venues, Vibrant Clubs, stunning rooftops, the exclusive Stork Club membership and dynamic music venues.

At the heart of our creative output is PieLab, our in-house agency formed post-COVID to unify and elevate our storytelling. What began as a nimble creative studio has evolved into a high- impact, full-service agency serving the Landmark portfolio.

Under the direction of family ownership, PieLab has achieved significant success and we are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take it to new heights. In this role, you will guide a young, creative team, set bold strategic direction, and shape how our brands show up in the world, measured not just by style, but by performance.

The Role

We’re looking for a visionary marketing leader to take the reins at Pie Labs, our in-house creative and strategy agency behind all By Landmark brands. From award-winning wedding venues and boutique hotels to celebrated restaurants, rooftops, and our signature Stork Club membership program, Pie Labs is the engine driving storytelling, demand generation, and brand distinction across our entire portfolio.

This role is about culture, creativity, and consistency across dozens of touchpoints and experiences. You’ll lead a team of creatives, digital marketers, and brand builders, crafting brand voices, overseeing campaign execution, and delivering growth across the board.

You’ll be the creative lead and marketing visionary behind one of the most exciting multi-brand hospitality companies in the Northeast. Pie Labs is our sandbox for building brands that matter, and as the CMO, you’ll be the one drawing the blueprint. While this is a top-tier leadership role within our marketing world, it remains deeply connected to the teams and experiences that make By Landmark so special.

Key Responsibilities

Lead PieLab & Creative Operations

  • Oversee PieLab as the internal marketing agency supporting all Landmark brands.
  • Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team of creatives, strategists, and content producers.
  • Implement systems that improve project workflow, delivery timelines, and campaign quality.
  • Build an internal culture that balances vision, creativity, and accountability.

Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Craft and execute brand strategy across all verticals, including new concept development.
  • Lead the rollout of integrated campaigns that connect brand, product, and experience.
  • Shape and elevate the positioning of the Stork Club through lifestyle-driven messaging and partnerships.
  • Manage seasonal, venue-specific, and company-wide launches from strategy to market.

Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization

  • Oversee all digital marketing channels: SEO, SEM, email, paid social, website, and retargeting.
  • Design and refine sales funnels for weddings, hotel bookings, membership acquisition, and restaurant reservations.
  • Develop KPIs across channels to track engagement, conversion, retention, and LTV.
  • Implement A/B testing, user journey mapping, and heatmap analysis to inform UX and content strategy.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Establish a data-driven marketing culture with real-time dashboards and monthly reporting cadences.
  • Monitor campaign performance against forecasted KPIs; make decisions based on ROI analysis.
  • Use Google Analytics, CRM analytics, paid media dashboards, and attribution modeling to evaluate performance.
  • Present executive-level insights that inform company strategy and drive business growth.

Membership & Community Growth

  • Develop and implement new 4 Wall and community marketing strategies to keep our brands top of mind
  • Build targeted campaigns to grow and retain Stork Club members
  • Leverage segmentation and data to personalize content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging

Omnichannel Marketing & Brand Expansion

  • Direct omnichannel marketing initiatives across digital, experiential, in-venue, PR, influencer, and print.
  • Lead activations and partnerships that connect By Landmark’s brands to new audiences and markets.
  • Develop and oversee messaging strategies for new ventures, amenities, and products when applicable

Leadership & Budget Management

  • Serve as a senior executive team member and strategic partner to the ownership family.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budgets and allocate resources to increase ROI.
  • Oversee third-party partners (agencies, platforms, vendors) to ensure strategic alignment and efficiency.
  • Build a roadmap for team development, scaling PieLab’s influence and capability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in senior marketing roles with deep experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or creative agency settings.
  • Proven leadership managing brand portfolios and scaling internal marketing teams.
  • Strong command of data analytics tools such Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Ads Manager, MailChimp).
  • Skilled in campaign development, full-funnel strategy, creative direction, and performance marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both analytical and brand-driven.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
  • Passion for design, community, culture, and hospitality innovation.
