Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead manufacturing excellence across Andover, MA and a new Somerville site. This role shapes the global manufacturing model, establishes operating systems, automation, and a world-class culture to scale operations.

You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and MES integration, partner with R&D and Quality, and build a high-performing leadership team to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related discipline required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the existing Andover manufacturing operation and establish a high‑performing Manufacturing Leadership Team accountable for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Drive the continued transformation of existing manufacturing operations to support significant growth with standardized processes and controls.
• Lead Next‑Generation Manufacturing & Scale for the Somerville, MA facility, designing and ramping a new manufacturing site.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to reduce variability and drive efficiency across manufacturing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related discipline

MBA preferred
