Atrium Hospitality's Madison Marriott in Middleton, WI is seeking a Chief Maintenance Engineer to lead the engineering team responsible for safety, service, and standards. This full-time role requires deep hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and budget oversight.

You will plan capital and engineering budgets, manage inventory and scheduling, and partner with leadership on renovations and preventive maintenance to elevate guest experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering with hands-on fixes of leaks, locks and systems.
• Proven leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Budgeting and P&L experience tied to maintenance work.
• Knowledge of safety codes and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with CMMS and Workday systems.

What You Will Do:

• Lead, train, and mentor an engineering team that keeps safety, service, and standards at the core.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems-basically, be the hotel's MVP when things go sideways.
• Strategically plan and execute the capital and engineering budgets-yes, you'll get your hands dirty and crunch the numbers.
• Manage inventory and scheduling to ensure productivity.
• Champion our loss prevention and safety programs-because protecting people and property is priority one.
• Partner with leadership to support renovations and preventive maintenance projects that elevate guest experience.

• Budget & P&L experience: You know the numbers behind R&M and labor-and why they matter.
• Knowledge of safety codes.
• Tech-savvy mindset: From CMMS to Workday, you don't shy away from screens and systems.
