Job summary

7 17 Credit Union, headquartered in Warren, Ohio, seeks a Chief Lending Officer to lead all lending divisions—consumer, mortgage, commercial, and collections. The CLO will set strategy, manage risk, and drive portfolio growth with a focus on innovation and data-driven decision making.

As a member of the executive team, the CLO will guide pricing analytics, regulatory compliance, and technology partnerships to enhance member experience and financial performance across lending channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• Master's degree or Juris Doctor preferred.
• Formal commercial credit training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set the long-term strategic direction for all lending divisions.
• Lead development of lending strategies for portfolio mix & profitability.
• Oversee underwriting quality and adherence to lending policies across product lines.
• Direct the Collections and Recovery functions to mitigate losses and ensure compliance.
• Oversee LOS implementation and FinTech partnerships.
