Job summary

Amplemarket is seeking a Head of Legal & Compliance to own data handling, dialer and AI calling compliance, and enterprise legal reviews. Build-from-scratch role integrated with product discussions to ensure scalable governance and secure operations.

You will lead privacy, supplier diligence, DPAs, security reviews, and regulatory strategy across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and US state laws, partnering with product, legal, and engineering to move fast while staying compliant.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combining law firm and in-house experience.
• Deep, hands-on privacy experience with GDPR/CCPA.
• Proven experience advising product and engineering teams.
• Track record building a legal/compliance function from scratch.
• Strong, direct communication translating regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own TCPA and dialing regulatory compliance in the platform.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on consent and suppression.
• Manage a TCPA firm on retainer.
• Draft and negotiate customer and vendor contracts and DPAs.
• Oversee enterprise security and privacy reviews.
• Shape roadmap and translate regulatory constraints into product requirements.
