Job summary

Absolics Inc. in Covington, GA seeks a General Counsel and Head of Legal to serve as the senior legal adviser to the Board and management. You will oversee corporate governance, contract drafting, IP protection, compliance programs, and regulatory matters to support strategic objectives.

You will lead external counsel, manage disputes, and coordinate governance documents while liaising with executives and stakeholders across multinational operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience in corporate settings
• In-house experience preferred
• Experience leading negotiations with business partners and coordinating external counsel
• Compliance or risk management experience
• Experience working with multinational companies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in English contract drafting and negotiation

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and vendor contracts
• Manage disputes and investigations, including government matters
• Lead legal support for strategic corporate projects, including financing and partnerships
• Lead corporate governance matters, board resolutions, and policies
• Implement, monitor, and enhance ethics and compliance programs
• Engage, supervise, and manage outside counsel and legal costs
• Perform legal analysis and recommend strategies to senior management
• Coordinate with shareholders, partners, and stakeholders as needed
• Manage legal document management and record-retention systems
