Job summary

Aspire Public Schools seeks a Chief Schools Officer for Aspire NorCal to lead instructional strategy across a multi-site network. You will supervise superintendents and school leaders, drive curriculum and assessment within the TK–12 continuum, and align resources to improve scholar outcomes.

The role demands a deep equity focus, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with senior leaders to advance post-secondary readiness across Northern California.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive instructional leadership across multiple sites.
• Experience leading a charter network or large district is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master's in education leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of California charter law and accountability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead superintendents and establish expectations for principals and school leadership teams.
• Set and drive a forward-looking instructional vision and implementation plan.
• Oversee data reviews, program evaluation, and resource allocation to improve outcomes.
• Partner with CTO on the scholar AI policy shaping teaching and learning.
