Aspire Public Schools seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function for Aspire NorCal, overseeing a budget over $200 million across 22 schools. The CFO reports to the President, sits on the Executive team, and guides budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy across Aspire NorCal.

The role requires deep nonprofit finance expertise, GAAP proficiency, and strong partnership with the CEO, Board, and school leaders to maximize resources for scholars and sustain growth.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership at senior level, preferably CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience leading finance for multi-site organizations with a sizable budget (>$50M).
• Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting and public-sector finance, especially California K-12 or charter schools.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP and federal Uniform Guidance; experience with audits.
• Strong financial modeling, FP&A, and ERP system proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual and multi-year budgeting across 22 schools and support office.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, close, and audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage capital markets activity, facilities transactions, and liquidity planning.
• Partner with CEO, President, and Board committees to align resources with priorities.
