Dripping Springs ISD DSISD Learning & Innovation Dept. seeks a Chief Academic Officer to lead district-wide learning, instruction, and student services, including special programs and gifted education.

This executive reports to the Deputy Superintendent and will guide curriculum, assessment, and professional development. The CAO will manage budgets, policy compliance, data-driven improvement, and collaboration with principals and central office to raise student outcomes across the district

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education administration or related field.
• Texas Mid-management or other appropriate Texas certificate.
• Certified to evaluate teachers in the State of Texas.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate development, review, design, and revision of all subject area programs and materials.
• Facilitate vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum and instruction on campuses.
• Build capacity for staff to integrate TEKS and viable curriculum with engaging strategies.
• Lead district-level decision-making to set and review goals and major classroom programs.
• Monitor and reevaluate instructional programs using teacher input, research, and student data.
• Ensure resources and instructional technology support district academic goals.
• Oversee curriculum document maintenance and revision.
• Support principals in evaluating data and implementing instructional strategies.
• Evaluate instructional tools and materials and oversee materials allotment review.
• Oversee design, implementation, and monitoring of special programs (504, GT, ESL, ELL, dyslexia).
• Oversee federal programs, including policies and procedures.
