Job summary

SunPower in-office in Orem, UT seeks a VP of Information Technology to lead development, infrastructure, security, and AI, setting technology strategy and guiding the IT organization through growth and acquisitions.

You will own the roadmap for applications, cloud and on-premise systems, and compliance, build high-performing teams, and partner with executives to align IT investments with SunPower's strategic priorities.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years managing multiple technology functions.
Experience with Netsuite or Salesforce across the enterprise.
Proven SDLC experience for new software product development.
Experience partnering with business teams to analyze requests and prioritize enhancements.
Ability and experience managing remote workers including offshore teams.
Proven experience building and scaling IT organizations in multi-site environments.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

Own the overall IT strategy and roadmap across development, infrastructure, security, and AI.
Lead and develop managers and teams across software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging AI initiatives.
Set architecture standards and technology direction for internal systems, integrations, and customer-facing platforms.
Own enterprise cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance posture, including incident response readiness.
Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud and on‑prem environments, balancing reliability, cost, and scalability.
Identify and lead the adoption of practical AI and automation opportunities across HR, sales, operations, and support functions.
Partner with executive leadership to align IT investment with business priorities and budget.
Lead technology due diligence and systems integration for acquired companies.
Manage vendor relationships and IT budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of technology services.
Establish and monitor KPIs for uptime, security posture, project delivery, and team performance.
