Job summary

Roamly, headquartered in Austin, is seeking a Head of Insurance Programs to own our portfolio of insurance programs from concept to execution. You will set appetite, rate strategy, and helper framework, while guiding underwriting referrals and authority decisions across multiple mobility lines.

In this role you will coordinate with Sales, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering, leveraging AI/automation in underwriting workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading insurance programs and underwriting teams.
• Strong understanding of P&C auto, carshare, and rideshare risk.
• Proven pricing, risk segmentation, and program governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of Roamly's insurance programs, including loss ratio and premium growth.
• Lead underwriting guidelines and risk selection across all programs.
• Oversee actuarial pricing, loss cost modeling, and filing strategy.
• Represent the program portfolio to executives, carriers, and reinsurers.
