Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting/actuarial leadership experience in insurance.
• Strong actuarial background with pricing models and loss cost modeling.
• Experience in insurtech, digital insurance platforms, or embedded insurance.
• Ability to develop and implement underwriting guidelines and actuarial pricing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in actuarial software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting strategy for Roamly's products.
• Oversee actuarial pricing models, loss cost modeling, and risk segmentation to drive profitability.
• Develop and refine pricing strategies using actuarial analysis and predictive modeling.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product to develop innovative insurance products and carrier partnerships.
• Establish and maintain underwriting guidelines, risk selection criteria, and pricing models.
• Engage with carrier partners to align on risk appetite and product development.
• Monitor KPIs for underwriting performance and profitability.
