Job summary

MOTER Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Vice-President, Compliance to lead our enterprise-wide insurance compliance program and partner with leadership across functions.

In this senior role you will oversee regulatory requirements for MGA operations, ensure licensing, underwriting, claims, and privacy compliance, and report to the CFO with a dotted line to the President & Chief Insurance Officer. This position is based in Torrance, CA, with hybrid in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays and remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or related field.
• 10+ years in insurance compliance within the P&C industry.
• In-depth knowledge of state laws, NAIC standards, and federal requirements.
• Experience with MGA, insurer, broker, insurtech, or regulated insurance organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee enterprise-wide insurance compliance program.
• Serve as SME on federal and state insurance regulatory requirements for MGA operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on compliance risks.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, product, and external counsel to ensure compliant practices.
• Lead regulatory examinations, audits, and remediation activities.
