Job summary

Tango Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Director, Insights and Analytics to lead the enterprise data, analytics, and insights strategy during the transition to a commercially integrated biopharma. The role reports to the Chief Commercialization Officer and partners with ELT and the Board to drive data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech insights, analytics, forecasting, or related commercial operations roles.
• Deep oncology expertise and a proven track record of leading analytics for oncology or specialty product launches.
• Proven leadership track record of building, scaling, and developing high-performing analytics and insights organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of cross-functional teams, acting as the strategic anchor for market analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and commercial insights.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Marketing, and Clinical Development to align on evidence needs, KPIs, and corporate strategies.
• Synthesize complex data into a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunities, and risks for ELT and Board.
• Direct Market Research to generate insights from HCPs, patients, and payers to shape brand strategy.
• Establish proactive competitive intelligence to track landscape, clinical developments, reimbursement trends, and innovations.
• Provide strategic oversight in developing global forecasting models for marketed products and pipeline assets.
• Lead scenario planning, demand models, and pipeline handover strategies for long-range planning.
• Lead the Data & Advanced Analytics COE in developing enterprise data strategy and predictive modeling.
