Job summary

Mission Bridge Partners is seeking a Chief Innovation Officer to lead enterprise innovation strategy and technology investments across the federal civilian market. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the executive team, shaping an innovation roadmap, IRAD investments, and differentiated solutions that accelerate contract wins and modernization outcomes.

The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting federal civilian agencies and translating technology innovation into sustainable business

Qualifications

15+ years of technology/innovation leadership, incl. executives for federal civilians.
Proven IRAD, R&D, or enterprise innovation program leadership with measurable impact.
Strong understanding of federal contracting, modernization priorities, and investment mechanisms.
Ability to align technology strategy with business development, capture, and revenue growth.
Experience communicating tech strategy to C-suite and agency leadership.

Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise innovation roadmap aligned with modernization priorities and growth.
Lead AI/ML, data analytics, cloud, DevSecOps, and digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee IRAD program, budgets, ROI, and capability development.
Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposals to create differentiated solutions.
Engage federal customers, partners, and industry forums to strengthen market position.
Ensure innovation programs meet cybersecurity, accessibility, privacy, and compliance.
