Veritone, Inc. is seeking a seasoned executive to serve as VP, Information Security & Compliance, acting as Chief Information Security Officer.

The role shapes security strategy across commercial SaaS and public sector environments, aligning governance with business goals and risk management. You will lead a global team, drive security culture, and manage FedRAMP, DoD, and privacy programs, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of leadership in information security, cloud, and compliance.
• Hands-on FedRAMP lifecycle management and cloud security experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide security strategy aligned with growth.
• Advise Board and leadership; translate risks into business terms.
• Build and lead global security and compliance teams.
• Embed security into multi-tenant SaaS and cloud platforms.
• Oversee third-party risk, security audits, and regulatory programs.
• Lead incident response, risk management, and governance activities.
