Job summary

Swooped seeks an experienced Chief Information Officer to lead enterprise technology and business systems in the United States. This full-time role reports to the CTO and collaborates with the COO, overseeing a 175-person organization and a budget above $45 million.

The CIO will modernize the tech stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, HubSpot), drive AI adoption, ensure governance, and partner with Finance and auditors to ensure control and compliance across Sales, Marketing, and Product systems.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership of IT/Business Systems orgs with 50+ staff.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and large revenue enterprises.
• Proven expertise in enterprise systems (CRM/ERP/HRIS) across a large portfolio.
• Experience with revenue recognition, SOC, SOX, and ITGC controls.
• Proven track record in scaling AI adoption with governance and enablement.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, modernization, and cost management of core tech stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, HubSpot).
• Lead internal AI Transformation team and low-code/no-code adoption.
• Oversee AI deployments with governance for non-technical users.
• Ensure audit readiness and collaborate with Finance and auditors.
• Direct tech investments toward People, Marketing, and Product systems with strong financial controls.
• Manage a 175-person blended workforce and evolving governance structure.
• Reduce governance overhead and promote cross-functional accountability.
• Transform Business Systems into a proactive partner for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product.
• Collaborate with Data to improve cross-functional operations.
