Job summary

Directions Credit Union is seeking a visionary Chief Information Officer to steer technology strategy, align it with the mission of empowering financial wellness, and lead IT, security, and data initiatives. You will champion innovation, guide digital transformation, and energize IT teams in a hybrid work environment.

You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to deliver secure, compliant solutions that maximize member value while driving growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 10–15 years of senior IT leadership and data management experience.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, CISM, or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the IT vision and lead IT, network, security, and data functions.
• Modernize the technology stack and drive digital transformation.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data governance, and IT compliance.
• Build and mentor high-performing IT and Data teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
