Job summary

San Francisco Fire Credit Union in San Francisco, CA is seeking a strategic Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, architecture, and the organization’s digital transformation. This executive role collaborates closely with senior leadership to align technology with business goals and member experience.

The CTO will drive a comprehensive technology roadmap, guide security and resilience initiatives, and oversee budgets and priorities to enable growth and operational excellence

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of progressive technology leadership experience within a financial institution are required.
• Experience leading technology strategy and transformation within a complex and growing financial institution is strongly preferred, along with advanced information-security certifications.

Responsibilities

• The CTO will monitor emerging technologies, strengthen cybersecurity and business continuity, manage technology risk, cultivate key vendor and technology-partner relationships, and foster a culture of innovation throughout the organization.
• The CTO will develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports organizational growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional member experience; establish annual technology priorities, strategies, and budgets; advance automation and scalable digital solutions; and ensure secure, reliable, resilient, and compliant infrastructure.
